Start with the exact input
THE FINALS combines weapons, gadgets and movement. Begin a controller comparison with a defined contestant and loadout. Switching equipment and sensitivity together makes it difficult to tell which change produced the observed response.
What to record before changing settings
| Check | Write down | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Contestant and loadout | Record the contestant setup, weapon and equipment in use. | The action map must match the equipment you are testing. |
| Movement state | Keep standing, moving and special movement attempts separate. | Changing movement state changes the conditions for the input. |
| Camera and aim | Record sensitivity, ADS behavior and deadzone values shown by the game. | A different response setting changes the baseline. |
A useful first comparison
- Confirm native controller inputs in an available practice setting. Start with one weapon and avoid combining equipment actions during the baseline.
- Choose one repeatable task and record the starting position and target. Make several observations with the same camera and control settings.
- Change one item, repeat the same task and compare what actually happened. Note unexpected gadget or movement inputs separately from aim feedback.
When to repeat the check
Start a new record when the contestant, loadout or game version changes. A successful input sequence in one loadout does not validate another one, and the notebook does not measure network delay or detect targets.
Check the current game and platform rules for your setup. A controller connection and permission to use additional input hardware are separate questions.
Documentation and next steps
Use THE FINALS official information for the current game documentation and the Cronus hardware guide for the device connection. This article does not claim a current GamePack exists for every platform or game edition.
Ozark ERA is an NBA 2K27 product. The other game articles are general controller references; they do not extend ERA support to those games.
